Stuffed Decorah eagle babies


Update from from the Raptor Resource Project in Decorah, Iowa: "The dynamic duo are growing like weeds this week as they sleep, eat, and gain the skills and features they need for the next phase of their lives! Their clown clompers are a nice shade of yellow, their talons are black, their natal down mohawks are clearly visible, and the outer edges of the nest are taking on a splotchy appearance as the eaglets get better at sitting up, bending over, and shooting poop!"

Hope running out for 3rd Decorah hatch


Waiting for the third Decorah eagle egg to hatch. Two days ago, the Raptor Research Project said, "We are still in the hatch window, even though it is toward the latter days of this nest history.
